Welcome to the Forward Emphasis Careers Portal, powered by Access Volcanic. By registering for an account and using this platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Please read this information carefully before continuing to use the site.
1. Account Registration and Use
To apply for any role at Forward Emphasis via this site, you must first create an account.
Once registered:
· You will have access to a personal profile where you can upload your CV and other relevant documents.
· You may browse and apply for job opportunities listed by Forward Emphasis.
· You can also set up job alerts to receive notifications about new opportunities.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile information up to date.
2. Data Handling and Privacy
By creating an account and applying for a position, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Candidate Privacy Notice, which complies with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your data will initially be collected and processed via the Volcanic platform.
Your data will be securely transferred to our internal HR system (Access PeopleXD), used to manage applicant data through the recruitment lifecycle.
You remain the owner of your personal data and retain full rights under data protection law. The system includes built-in features to help you exercise those rights (see Section 5).
3. Document Uploads and Content
You may upload documents (e.g. CV, cover letter, certificates) to support your applications. You are solely responsible for ensuring the content is accurate and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Forward Emphasis is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on incomplete, incorrect, or misleading information provided by applicants.
4. Account Inactivity and Retention
To support data minimisation and privacy best practices:
· Accounts and associated profile information will be automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity.
· Inactivity is defined as not logging into your account or not performing any active job-related actions within that timeframe.
5. Your Data Rights Within Your Profile
You can manage your data directly within your profile by using the following features:
· Request Right to be Forgotten: You can request that your account and all associated personal data be permanently deleted at any time.
· Request Subject Access: You can request a copy of all personal data held about you on the platform.
6. Use of Platform
You agree not to:
· Use the platform for any purpose other than to apply for roles at Forward Emphasis;
· Upload any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content;
· Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or eligibility to work;
· Attempt to access or interfere with any part of the platform not intended for your use.
Forward Emphasis reserves the right to suspend or delete your account in the event of any misuse or breach of these terms.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and are effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of the site after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
